Hi! We are Julia Comita and Paul Quitoriano, and we are professional photographers in New York City with a passion for animals and finding good homes for them. Photographer Teresa Berg started a project in Dallas, Texas photographing rescue dachshunds and raised the adoption rate 100%. It is our commitment to the abandoned/rescued animals in America to do the same by collaborating with professional photographers across the country in an effort to inspire the community to take these amazing pets home with them!
Over the weekend of May 5th and 6th, we and our amazing shelter coordinator Stephanie Lala-Katz, are creating an event where we provide shelters across America with like-minded professional photographers who will donate their time to capture honest and uplifting photographs of each animal for the shelter's adoption websites/media. We invite you to be a part of this amazing opportunity to save the lives of abandoned animals in America!
According to the Humane Society of the United States there are four million cats and dogs - about one every eight seconds - put down in US shelters per year. Together we have the power to fight this!
